For my small business and entrepreneur clients, I’m also having an Internet Famous VIP sale on workshops and coaching packages.
After Thanksgiving’s “Black Friday” holiday which encourages shoppers to pack malls at ungodly hours, I really appreciate “Small Business Saturday”, which encourages consumers to support their local mom and pop shops. Analysts at Civic Economics have determined that for every $100 spent at local small businesses, $68 returns to the community.
American Express created Small Business Saturday in 2010 to help their small business account holders better promote their brick-and-mortar stores, offering free resources for businesses. This event has grown over the past few years, and I’m excited for the small business owners who take advantage.
“Internet Famous VIP Intensives” is the name of my brand-spanking new program for artists and entrepreneurs who want personalized attention and technical assistance with creating their online presence.
You get a private consultation day with me to work out a customized marketing plan, as well as a technical team (graphic/web designers, video editors, virtual assistants, content creators, etc) with the expertise to bring it to life.
You also get follow up calls with me at 30, 60, and 90 days to keep you on track, so it’s like getting an online marketing coach AND a virtual team of your own!
Whenever I do private consultations, I notice that clients often need help with the technical details such as graphic and web design, video editing, content creation. This package also includes a team of technical assistants so you don’t have to pull out your hair doing it all by yourself ;-). I’m quite excited about this program!!
The price is $2500 for a full-day consultation, tech help from my team, and 3 follow up calls.
Summer Business School is an 8-week online marketing course created to teach entrepreneurs and small business owners how to market their business online.
As it’s Summertime, this course offers convenient course modules, available in audio, video, and written form, so you can take the lessons with you on your smartphone or iPod. There will be a weekly group call, which will be recorded and available as an mp3 replay. There is also an online forum so participants can get direct help from me, as well as other coursemates. There is power in community, and we will BRING IT!
The promotional website at SummerBusinessSchool.com is what’s called a “Product Launch” site, which will feature a series of free tutorial videos offering strategies that you can use in your business right now. The “cutting edge” technology involved in building this site has enabled many online marketers to automate building their list, and selling products, and I’m excited to be using it to launch this online course.
As announced in the first tutorial video, I’m holding a video contest for a consultation package. Online video is a great way to bring exposure for your business, so I’m daring you all to make one!
50 spots in Summer Business School will be available for sale during the “launch period” of July 20-27th only, but in the meantime check out the video tutorials at http://SummerBusinessSchool.com. If you like these fun videos, you’ll LOVE the course!!
[One of the coolest things about working with Ariel Hyatt is having access to some of the brightest up and comers in the music biz, aka her interns!!! I am quite fortunate to have Miz Marissa Zaenger be my right hand and Community Coordinator this Spring 2011 semester. From the Chicago area, she graduates at the end of this year from Belmont University. She is smart as a whip, and teaching me how to delegate! Today, I proudly share a guest post of Marissa’s, which originally appeared on the Music Success in Nine Weeks blog]
Hey everyone! Guest blogger Marissa here. You may have seen me around on the Mastermind forum if you’re part of that crowd, but if not, I intern with Cyber PR and have Ariel and Carla as two pretty kick-butt bosses. I basically help manage artist campaigns, moderate the forum, and blog :]
Anyway, the Cyber PR office has seen some pretty exciting action this week. Ariel and Carla’s brand spankin’ new book, Musician’s Roadmap to Facebook and Twitter, is now available!! We’ve been processing book orders and shipping out like CRAZY. We had a big order come in for 20 books from Benji over at PledgeMusic, so we decided to have some fun and take pictures of ourselves packing the box. Check our hotness out.
Here’s Jason, Ariel’s right hand man. He’s the head honcho for us interns!
This lovely lady is Chereen, and she’s from Holland. That’s far, yo! She’s super nice and works hard for Cyber PR!
Kyle’s another awesome intern and a native New Yorker. He handles the long train ride from Harlem to Brooklyn pretty well. Probably because he gets to crack jokes with me all day ;]
And FINALLY, yours truly, keepin’ it real. Me! I’m from Chicago. Don’t let the funky leggings fool you, I clearly mean business.
A big thank you from all of us at Ariel Publicity to Benji at PledgeMusic! Everyone go check out PledgeMusic and see Musician’s Roadmap for yourself! Over and out! <3

Wow! Can’t believe it’s here! The first printing of The Musician’s Roadmap to Facebook and Twitter: Your Complete Guide to Getting Liked, Followed and Heardby me and Ariel Hyatt is here! It’s really here!
Our first batch of printed books has arrived, and we’re getting it out to the early adopter musicians who bought the first available copies our book at TAXI Road Rally last November.
We’re keeping our eyes peeled for Facebook’s updates, and we’ll revise as needed. The book will soon be available for online purchase, as well as at lectures that Ariel and I will be giving, and we’re so excited!!!
